Evryuzhihin Gennady Yegorovich

 

EVRYUZHIHIN Gennady Yegorovich was born on Feb. 4, 1944 in Kazan. A pupil of Kazan "Raketa". Striker, midfielder.

He played for club team "Raketa", Kazan (1962-1963),  Lokomotive Moscow, Leningrad (1964), "Dinamo" Leningrad (1965-1966.) Dynamo Moscow (1966-1976 years.). In the major league of championship of the USSR played 283 matches and scored 54 goals.

Champion of USSR in 1976 (spring), second place in 1967 and 1970, third place in 1973 and 1975. USSR Cup winner in 1967 and 1970. In European competition - 14 matches, 3 goals (Cup Winners' Cup - 9 games, 2 goals, UEFA Cup - 5 matches, 1 goal). Finalist of the Cup Winners' Cup in 1972. The captain of Moscow Dynamo in 1971 and 1974. Three times was among 33 best players of the country: 1967, 1973 (№ 2), 1970 (№ 1). In the National team of USSR in the years 1966-1972 played 37 matches and scored 6 goals. Third place on the Olympic Games in 1972.  Participated on World Cup 1970.

In the years 1977-1998. worked as courier of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He died in Moscow on March 15, 1998.
